Carmageddon Part 2: Don’t be complacent, L.A. mayor warns

After last year’s Carmageddon turned away to be less than apocalyptical, officials forewarn that the second phase, in belated September, will necessitate the same cooperation.

When a 10-mile stretch of one of the nation’s busy freeways was closed downwards for two days last summer in Los Angeles, many predicted traffic mayhem and dubbed the baleful closure Carmageddon.
